"Picture this" by Johnara : A new and exciting form of Digital Art

brings to you a collaboration of

Traditional Photography and Modern Technology

These projects typically begin their journey as photographed elements by John Hardison. Following a digitalization process, Barbara Love Newport adds further elements to the collage mix through use of the computer.

Our goal is to enhance your art experience by offering canvases that are - unto themselves - original art works. The integrity of the process in which they are created reveals the powerful essence of the digital world where the copy is the original and vice versa.

The computer is the palette of the twenty-first century's artist. Like palettes of old, the post-modern artist needs to blend colors to create works that are uniquely the artist's own.

Barbara Love Newport mixes the computer palette of image, color, technological techniques and imagination with John Hardison traditional photography and techniques to create powerful expressions across the visual spectrum.

The art work is a digital thermal print on cotton canvas archival, with pigment-based inks printed at super high resolution revealing great detail and texture. Under normal conditions, the images will not fade for a hundred years. The end result looks like a painted canvas and is equally appealing with or without a frame. Images can be printed on artist grade papers for a framed and matted under glass presentation. Sizes ranging form miniature to mural.
